OVOSONO strives to make its online shop accessible to everyone — regardless of individual abilities.

Description of the Service

OVOSONO operates an online shop at ovosono.com for handcrafted LED wall clocks with Audio TimeSync technology. The shop includes product pages, a configurator, blog, support, and an ordering process.

Implemented Measures

  • Semantic HTML (correct heading hierarchy, landmarks, ARIA labels)
  • Sufficient color contrasts (at least 4.5:1 according to WCAG 2.1 AA)
  • Full keyboard navigation for all interactive elements
  • Alternative texts on all informative images
  • Visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation
  • Responsive design for all screen sizes (320px to 1920px+)
  • Clear error messages with instructions in forms
  • No color-only information distinctions

Known Limitations

  • The live demo clock animation is not fully accessible with screen readers.
  • The Audio TimeSync configurator requires visual interaction.
  • Embedded third-party content (e.g., Stripe Checkout) is subject to the accessibility standards of the respective provider.

Micro-Enterprise Exemption

OVOSONO currently falls under the micro-enterprise exemption according to § 3 para. 3 BFSG (fewer than 10 employees, annual turnover below EUR 2 million). Nevertheless, we voluntarily implement the measures listed above and continuously improve accessibility.
